Our Hands-On Review
When the pishwaas opens out fully, the shikargah birds and botanicals in gold-green thread run all the way around the skirt from hem to bodice. It's a lot of work and you can feel it in the weight of the fabric. The printed churidaar underneath is a blush-floral silk that stays mostly hidden when you're standing. Sit down and it shows at the ankle, a nice unexpected detail. The green organza dupatta has enough volume to drape over the head as a veil if you wanted to, and one of the product shots actually styles it that way. Closest thing in the collection to a wedding-day outfit without actually being bridal. If you're considering this for a nikkah or a smaller ceremony, it would work well without feeling overdressed.
Style It With
ORINA is the statement piece. Pair with antique gold jhumkas and minimal bangles. The green dupatta draped as a veil creates a bridal-adjacent look without the weight of a full formal lehenga. For mehndi or sangeet, this is the outfit that photographs as well from the back as the front.
